The latest domain sales chart at DN Journal shows some nice deals. Photo.com was sold at Moniker for $1,250,000 which is pretty much a fair price. There is a lot of development potential in this name.
Software.de , sold for $303,182, is another name with great potential while Business.tv took the 3rd spot on the chart with $100,999.
More or less surprising, MathsGames.com is on the 4th spot being sold for $54,719 at Sedo. Nothing special about this one to fetch over $50K and I think if it was auctionned on a domain forum it would have been sold for a couple of hundreds. Another surprising sale is Imagem.com , $45,000 at Sedo. I’m still trying to figure out why…
Even if it’s nearly summer all over the world, Christmas.tv was sold for $32,000. I guess the new owner has about 6-7 months to develop the domain and prepare it for the shopping season.
Everyone knows that among all the top domains being sold every week, there are also some funny sales, domains which may seem to be worthless or with low development potential. A few funny sales this week… IWant2.com for £15,000 at Sedo, PornRoulette.com for $11,251, CarPictures1.com for $10,500 (I wonder if CarPictures9.com would be more expensive), FenFen.com for $5,000 or Im-In.com for $2,000.
